The story behind Beudy

Welsh roots. Big dreams. A love for the countryside.

Hiya! I'm 17 years old and from  Wales, and I'm the girl behind BEUDY Clothing.

Although I haven't grown up on a farm myself, agriculture has always been something I've had a huge passion for. From spending time at my uncle's smallholding and helping out on friends' farms to being involved in Young Farmers , I've always loved being surrounded by the farming community.

For as long as I can remember, one of my biggest dreams has been to live on a farm and hopefully, one day, be able to buy a farm of my own. It's a pretty big dream, I know, but everyone has to start somewhere!

I've also always wanted to start my own business, so I thought, why not combine my love for agriculture with my interest in clothing and create something of my own?

And that's where BEUDY began.

The name BEUDY comes from the Welsh word for cowshed. I wanted a name that was proudly Welsh, simple to remember and connected to the countryside that has inspired me.

My aim with BEUDY is to create clothing that people genuinely love wearing. Something that looks just as good out with friends as it does on the farm. From classic quarter zips with subtle embroidered logos to hoodies featuring countryside-inspired designs, every piece is being designed with a purpose.

But BEUDY isn't just for farmers. It's for anyone who loves the countryside, appreciates rural life or simply enjoys comfortable, timeless clothing.

I want BEUDY to be more than just another clothing brand. I want it to represent the community, friendships and experiences that make countryside life so special.

I'm starting this journey at just 17, with a few designs, a lot of ideas and a dream of building something I'm proud of. I'm currently working towards producing my first samples, and hopefully, with enough support, I'll be able to turn BEUDY into a proper clothing business.

I have so many ideas for the future, from expanding the clothing collection to creating new designs inspired by different parts of rural life.
